This Weeks Bible Verse

Isaiah 58:6  Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burden, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

Is this not the fast, God proclaimed only one fast, the Day of Atonement, called “afflict your souls”, that I have chosen? God himself proclaimed that fast on the Day of Atonement, foreshadowing the passion of Jesus Christ suffering the affliction of men’s sins on the cross. Jesus ate no food from the time of the Passover meal until he died. to loose, cut, untie, sever, the bands, ropes, chains, metal bands hammered and screwed or welded together, of wickedness, the shame and desire of sin. to undo, make as though they never were, the heavy burden, the extreme weight of sin, the extraordinary load of care, and to let, allow, give permission to, the oppressed, the suffering, those under the tyrany of sin, those impassioned by the unholy appetites of the flesh, go free, be liberated, released, exonerated from guilt, and that ye, the ones hearing the message, you who read the message, break, tear assunder, be rid of, every yoke? not just sins past, but sins present and sins future. Jesus said, No servant can serve two masters, Luke 16:13. Choose you this day whom ye will serve, Joshua 24:15. The world, to everlasting fire, or the LORD, to everlasting glory. Believe it!

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith;and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

For by grace, which is the unmerited (by man) favor, or an unearned (by man) benefaction from God. Grace began in the Garden of Eden, when God killed an animal, and shed it’s blood, instead of killing  Adam and Eve for their sin, and clothed them with coats of skins. Gen.3:21.  Are ye saved, that is, snatched from danger, removed from harms way, through faith, not with faith, which could be man’s way,but through faith, which is God’s way as it is the faith in the redeeming work of Jesus Christ on the cross. And that not of yourselves, you had nothing to do with it! God chose you before the foundation of the world, Eph. 1-4, in fact had finished the work of salvation from the foundation of the world, Rev 13:8. It is the gift of God, that is, He gave it to you before you were even able to take it, But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Rom. 5:8. A sinner, dead in trespass and sin, can do nothing for his own salvation, not even reach a hand up. God, only, can impute salvation. Rom. 4: 22-24.

Not of works, again, what can a dead man do but decay and continue in his corruption? But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags, Isaiah 64:6a. Lest any man should boast, If any person has a say or a hand in his own salvation there was no need for Jesus to die, indeed there would have been no need for the bible, indeed there would have been no need for heaven or hell, indeed there would have been no need for God. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Prov. 14:12.  There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Prov. 16:25.  Believe it!

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and earth.

I think of this verse as the starting point not just of heaven and earth but of belief. If you have opened a bible you have seen these words. Judaism and Christianity hinge on the opening, In the beginning God… This phrase is the beginning of faith. 1) In the beginning – belief in a starting point of the world. Even science dictates a beginning, a “big bang” if you will. Logic, also, demands a prima causa, a first cause. Even fancy mathmatics will not allow 1 = 0, something from nothing. Only a Prime Mover can cause creation ex nihilo, hence, In the beginning God… God is the Creator, the Maker of all things. In the beginning God created the heaven and earth. John 1:3 states, All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. Man is not a creation of man’s own mind. Romans 1:20 states, For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:.The created do know the Creator at all levels of their being, in the body, mind, and soul. Psalm 100:3 states, Know ye that the LORD He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. In the beginning God created the heaven and earth. Believe it!

Hi. this is kind of an “unconventional” question , but have other visitors asked you how get the menu bar to look like you’ve got it? I also have a blog and am really looking to alter around the theme, however am scared to death to mess with it for fear of the search engines punishing me. I am very new to all of this …so i am just not positive exactly how to try to to it all yet. I’ll just keep working on it one day at a time.

@Sam I know what your saying there . In todays economy its difficult to find a career that pays well and is stable . I have discovered that if you just work hard and are consistent you can go places . Look at the author of this article, they are oviously hard working and have just been consistent over time and are now enjoying at least what would appear as somewhat of a success. I would encourage everyone to just keep hustling and moving forward.
